Springs and expanded polyurethane mattresses are, in addition to 100% polyester fibre pillows, the core business of the company. Nevertheless, the increasing attention to the changeable market requires has lead Harmony to evaluate with growing interest alternative materials like latex, already well-known for its own therapeutic features, and to use the most innovative antimycotic fibres and dirt-resistant textiles. All the products have the CEE marking.

Harmony has developed the following product lines:

Hotel Division
The Hotel Division products have been created to offer a solution to the national law in force for fire prevention. It includes fire retardant mattresses, pillows and accessories belonging to 1IM FIRE REACTION CLASS as established by the Home Office.

Hospital Division
Harmony is specialized in supplies for sanitary field. In this vision it has chosen the highest raw materials, thus ensuring the patients the best condition for a good rest, thanks to mattresses made of resilient, fire retardant, thermo regulating and high density expanded polyurethane with open cells. This kind of product is available also in an ashlars-shaped version for the prevention of bedsores. All the products of this line are fire retardant and belong to the 1IM FIRE REACTION CLASS.

Naval Division
At the moment, Harmony has chosen three products for this category: one springs mattress, one expanded polyurethane mattress and one pillow: these, besides the already known technical features, were provided with the RINA and MED (Marine Equipment Directive) Certificates.

Home Division
The products of Home Division range over a multiple choice of springs mattresses of any kind of dimensions, latex pillows and mattresses, 100% polyester fibre and silicone polyester fibre pillows and goose feather pillows.

ANTIMICROBIAL OLEFINIC SANITIZED® FIBRE
In order to warrant the highest hygiene to your own mattresses and pillows, Harmony makes use of antimicrobial, olefinic, asota® AM Sanitized® fibres, mixed with cotton, which provides permanent and extensive protection against odour due to the colonization of dust mites and mould fungi. This product gives more comfort at home for allergic and asthmatic persons. From a toxicological point of view, antimicrobial, olefinic, asota® AM Sanitized® fibres do not present any risk to human health nor environment. The antimicrobial substance used to treat the above mentioned fibres has been widely tested and it is commonly used as preservative by the cosmetic and oral hygiene industries. The active agents are integrated into fibres without the addition of any other chemical agent. For this reason the fibres can be washed at 60°C.

DIRT- RETARDANT PROTECTIVE TEFLON® DUPONT
The dirt-retardant protective TEFLON® DUPONT creates around each fibre a barrier, which, rejecting water and oily liquids, make the removal of spots easy. This protection does not modify the shape, the colour and the thermo regulating features of the textile, but, in addition to this, gives a greater hygiene to the inner parts of the mattress.
All the fire-retardant mattresses belonging to Naval, Hotel and Hospital Divisions, besides being antibacterial and orthopaedic, has been made still more hygienic and safe, thanks to the introduction of this new material.
